Green BeeWraps

honest answers, no fluff

Things you've already wondered about beeswax wraps.

  • How long do they actually last?

Years, with a little care. Wash in cool water, keep them away from heat, and they'll keep working long after you've forgotten when you bought them. When yours finally feels too tired, snip it up and toss it in the compost.

  • Can I wrap raw meat with them?

We don't recommend it. Beeswax wraps work beautifully for produce, cheese, bread, sandwiches, and covering bowls. For raw meat, stick to a sealed container.

  • Are they actually compostable?

Yes — every ingredient is plant or bee-derived. At the end of life, snip them into strips and add them to a backyard compost pile. They'll break down within a season.

  • How do I clean them?

Cool water, mild dish soap, a soft cloth. Hang to dry. Avoid the dishwasher and avoid hot water — heat is what melts the wax.

  • What's in the wax blend?

Domestic, all-natural beeswax, damar resin (for the cling), and jojoba + coconut oils (for flexibility and softness). All on top of 100% organic cotton. That's it.

  • Do they smell?

Faintly, yes — warm honey with the slightest sweet-resin note. Most people love it. The smell fades over a few weeks of use.

  • Where do you ship?

Anywhere in the US. Orders ship within 5–7 business days, and orders of $50 or more ship free. The full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.

  • What if I don't love them?

Reach out within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right. Unused wraps can be returned for a full refund, and if a wrap is defective we'll replace it. The details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
